I have decided to participate in Ali Edwards‘ December Daily project this year.  I read about her project last year, but as I mentioned in my previous post, I had no christmas spirit… and didn’t participate.

A couple of months ago Lauren sent me a junk journal as part of a swap that we did. I decided that, as I hadnt used it yet, I would convert it into my december daily album. Most of the blank writing paper has been taken out as have alot of  the pockets and other inserts. I’ll use them in another journal.

I’ve left in all of the patterned paper and added a heap of my own as there wasn’t enough to make all of the little tab pages that I wanted. I’ve also added a heap of plain white paper to write on and add photos to. I decided I wanted my album to be white so it will go with everything else I choose to put in I don’t think any of the paper is at all “christmassy” but its in bright colours and it I think it makes the journal look a little funky!

I’ve added two “Pre-December” pages to the front of mine for a couple of stories I want to include. One is about the death of my Uncle on November 27 and the other is about a little boo boo the bus had I wanted both stories to be mentioned in the album even though they didnt happen in December. I’m in the process of writing the entry’s for day two (yesterday) and day three (today) and I got myself a fresh colour cartridge for my printer so I’ll print photos to add in a little later.
